Number of Internet users hits one million mark in Bangladesh, Yahoo.com, 28 Apr 2005
"The country has over 60 active Internet service providers (ISPs) and the number of users now stands at one million partly due to a cut in tariffs. Internet services were introduced in Bangladesh in 1996 but growth remained slow until 2002."
