Visto, Rogers link up for wireless e-mail, CnetNews.com, 27 Apr 2005

“Wireless e-mail provider Visto announced on Wednesday that it has signed up Canadian cellular company Rogers Communications as a customer. The deal means that Rogers' 5.5 million subscribers will have access to e-mail, calendar and contacts applications on their wireless devices via its MyMail service.�

Verizon Earnings Rise on Wireless, eWeek.com, 27 Apr 2005

“Verizon Communications Inc., reported a 47 percent jump in first-quarter earnings on Wednesday from strong sales of wireless services. Verizon reported stronger-than-expected growth in high-speed Internet access for the quarter. While total land lines in service fell 1.5 percent, to 52.2 million, Verizon added 385,000 high-speed Internet lines and 966,000 long-distance lines during the quarter.�
