Smart options to replace passwords, South China Morning Post, 22 Feb 2005

“RSA last week announced a trial by online broker ETrade of a multiple factor authentication service for consumers. Users will be able to use USB key tokens, smart cards or software-based tokens on personal digital assistants. The same device will be able to access any site using the service. Each of these devices produces a new random number every minute, which is used to log in to a website and vetted by RSA.�
